Life in jail for Xbox kill thugs

TWO thugs who beat a teenager to death just to steal his Xbox have been jailed for life.

Graeme Duncan and Kenneth Power, both 23, barged into Ross Davidson’s home because they saw it as an easy target.

They battered the 19-year-old with 3ft sticks as his girlfriend Kylie Smith screamed at them to stop.

Ross was left dying on the floor of his flat in Byker, Newcastle, as they ran off with his game console.

Duncan admitted murder and was ordered to serve at least 22 years by Newcastle Crown Court.

Power denied the charge but was convicted and ordered to serve 24 years.

Steven Gilbert, 23, got ten years for conspiracy to rob. All lived in Byker.
